ALSA LC UGM Law Journal is a Journal that published every year by Editorial Board of ALSA LC UGM with different theme each year
Foreword
ALSA LC UGM LAW JOURNAL is a double-blind peer-reviewed legal journal that is managed, edited, and published entirely by the students of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Under the ALSA Local Chapter of Universitas Gadjah Mada, we devote to provide a platform for law students in the Faculty of Law UGM by featuring their articles in various areas of legal studies.
ALSA LC UGM LAW JOURNAL aims to publish a student-written piece once every year with the purpose to address the arising substantive legal issues in today’s globalization era. The submissions of the article will go through a double-blind peer review where the assessment process would remain the anonymity of both the Authors and the Reviewers. Reviewers would be picked according to their expertise in the relevant topic of the submitted article.
We welcome every authors, readers, and reviewers for their enthusiasm, contribution, as well as support for our work. We hope that through ALSA LC UGM LAW JOURNAL, law students of Universitas Gadjah Mada would be able to further develop their knowledge and skills that would be required to create significant changes towards the society. I am very thankful and very honored to be able to trust you as the current Editor in Chief for this year’s publication.

Submission Guidelines
Annual Publication
ALSA LC UGM Law Journal publishes only once annually and the theme will also vary every year. Submission for the journal articles is usually open around June or July, which will be notified through ALSA LC UGM Instagram post.
Qualifications of the Authors

The author(s) must be undergraduate law students from Faculty of Law Universitas Gadjah Mada (S-1 Program), proven by student identity card.

An article may be authored by a maximum of 3 (three) persons.
Writing Provisions
-
Title: 10-15 words
-
Abstract: 100-200 words
-
Article: 3,000 - 10,000 words (including footnotes)
-
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
-
Format: A4 paper, 1.5 line spacing, normal margin

Structure: Title (includes author’s name), Abstract, Introduction, Analysis, Conclusion (may include suggestions), Bibliography
Additional Information

Articles must be written in proper English or Bahasa Indonesia.

The minimum reference consists of 5 (five) books and 10 (ten) journals.

The use of footnotes shall refer to the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition referencing system.

Articles must be submitted in soft-copy format (.doc or .docx) via email to editorialboard.alsalcugm@gmail.com.

The submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial stage, namely the pre-review process. If it passes this process, it will then undergo a double-blind peer review process.
