LAW DEVELOPMENT
Law Development focuses on two pillars of ALSA, ‘Academically Committed’ and ‘Legally Skilled’. To achieve this vision, Law Development aims to develop members’ legal knowledge through various program and academic activities, including events, competitions and training sessions. In addition, members’ legal skills are further shaped through legal writing activities. It is hoped that the legal skills and knowledge facilitated by the Law Development division will be of benefit to the wider community.

PROGRAM KERJA
ALSA LEGAL DISCUSSION
ALSA Legal Discussion is a program run by Law Development of ALSA LC UGM, which explores a wide range of current issues. This initiative was established as a forum for sharing ideas through active discussion, with the aim of offering fresh perspectives on the topics under discussion. This program also collaborates with legal practitioners working in the field, ensuring that these new perspectives are further explored and clarified by experts in their respective fields.

ALSA ELEXION
ALSA Elexion is the signature program of Law Development. It is a competition centred around a specific theme related with legal-fields. In addition, ALSA Elexion provides participants with a platform not only to channel their interests and talents but also to gain new insights through seminars delivered by legal practitioners. This program is designed to enhance understanding of current legal issues and develop critical thinking skills.

ALSA RESEARCH TEAM (ART)
ALSA Research Team is a unit that provides solutions to evolving legal needs. In carrying out its work, the ALSA Research Team will be supported by expert partners to enhance the quality of its written outputs. The final outputs of this unit consist of policy papers and academic articles, which will be published by the Hearing Webinar and submitted to the relevant authorities. It is hoped that this function will address legal needs regarding current issues and also provide members with the opportunity to develop their legal writing skills.
